River Running and Decision Making camp

This 4 day camp will focus on giving teens the keys to make good decisions while running rivers.

We will look at how to safely read and run complex rapids and how to set up safety to support fellow paddlers.  A large portion of time will be spent discussing and learning how to identify the keys to safely getting down a rapid.  Decision making models and when to walk around.

It is easy for teens to feel peer pressure when out running white water.  This camp will aim to teach them how to support each other and how to confidently decide to walk around a rapid.

Must be comfortable running Class II+ to III rapids and have a solid river roll.
