Penguin Race 2023

The annual kick off to the kayak season, the Penguin Race.

Don’t let the name fool you.  This is more than a fun race!  Great socializing, food and summer planning!

Events for all ages and abilities (must have a comfortable wet exit).

This year the Penguin Race will be April 30.

The race will be held Carburn Park and will be a Kayak Cross race.  This exciting race will have different levels of competition for all abilities.  The canal is flat and moves very slowly.  There will be a course constructed with gates for paddlers to navigate.

Fun, food and prizes for all ages!  Don’t forget to dress up as a penguin!
