Learn to Kayak 6-11yrs
Kayaking! Ask your kids, they want to learn to kayak. Sign them up for our 1/2 day camp. Participants will learn all the strokes, safety and maneuvers required to have fun and be safe on flatwater..
We will progress from flatwater to hopefully floating on the Bow River (based on participant skills).
Paddling equipment is provided.

Learn to Kayak 12-17yrs
Teens want to learn to kayak! Get them into this awesome outdoor sport and community. During this 1/2 day camp participants will learn all the strokes, safety and maneuvers required to have fun and be safe on class I rivers.
We will progress from flatwater on day 1 and 2 to some easy moving water day 3 and 4 on the Bow River.
Paddling equipment is provided.

Intermediate Kayak
Designed for kids that have previously attended the Newbie camp or similar.
This 3 x 1/2 day camp focusses on strokes, maneuvers, safety and fun on the river.
Introducing rolling and surfing.
Paddling class I-II rivers the fun will be non stop.
Day 9am-12pm
Ages 12-17
** Must be able to perform eddy turns and ferries on class I rivers

WW Skills Camp
Spend 4 days improving your paddling skills! This camp will bring youth paddlers from across the province together for a can’t miss week of paddling.
We will have sessions dedicated to River Running, Freestyle, Kayak Cross and Rescue/Safety.
A well rounded paddling experience with some of the top instructors from around the province.
This camp will be based out of the group campsite at Canoe Meadows on the Kananaskis river.
Designed for youth that are comfortable paddling on Class II and looking to improve their skills.
Price includes all equipment and camping.
Participants are responsible for their own camping equipment and food. Adult supervision is onsite and able to help participants with cooking.
